David Frohlich is the Director of Digital World Research Centre at the University of Surrey and Professor of Interaction Design. He joined the Centre in January 2005 to establish a new research agenda on user-centred innovation for the consumer market.
Dr Jon Rogers - Course Director of Product Design, Dundee
Dr Jon Rogers is course director of Product Design at the University of Dundee specialising in the design of digital products (products that have digital electronics in them). He works closely with technology industries (e.g. Microsoft and NCR) in research and student.
Paul Egglestone - UCLan Project Lead, Preston
Paul Egglestone joins Bespoke from Sandbox and UCLan’s School of Journalism, Media and Communication, where he previously led an International Documentary MA and a Media Management BA in Shanghai.
Dr Justin Marshall - Research Fellow, Falmouth
Dr Justin Marshall is currently a Research Fellow working within Autonomatic, the 3D Digital Research Cluster based at University College Falmouth. He is a practising maker and researcher with a diverse training in range of visual art and design disciplines
Professor Patrick Olivier - Culture Lab, Newcastle University
My research team is based in Space 2 in Culture Lab here at Newcastle University. The focus of most of our work is on interaction with computers in everyday settings, and the role on technology in making people’s lives more meaningful.

Katherine Smith is a social anthropologist who has conducted extensive research in the north of England on local idioms of belonging, social class, discourses of race and ethnicity, political correctness and perceptions of bureaucratic indifference.

John Mills - Bespoke Project Coordinator, UCLan
John joins Bespoke from the position of regional editor with online business-to-business news agency DirectNews. Over the last five years, John has established editorial offices in Manchester and Leeds, and more recently headed a team of virtual newswire reporters based throughout the UK and Europe.

Alicia Blum-Ross - Research Fellow
Alicia is a Research Fellow in the Digital World Research Centre at University of Surrey. She is a social anthropologist interested in the study of visual culture, in particular the production and circulation of different forms of media.

Michael Shorter - Product Designer
Michael Shorter is a product designer who has specialised in digital product design. He studied Product Design at the University of Dundee.

Gavin Wood - Mobile Developer
Gavin Wood is the Mobile Developer for the Economy Research Hub at Newcastle University.

James Thomas - Research Assistant
James' interests focus on visualization and HCI, and he comes to the project after completing a cross-disciplinary PHD at the Department of Civil Engineering and the Informatics Research Institute. James has been based in Culture Lab since 2008.

Jayne Wallace - Research Associate
Jayne's work focuses on how Jewelery can play a role in what we consider to be personally meaningful in our lives, within an emotional context. Her interests also center on how the expression of fragments can be enriched through the integration of digital technologies.
